Practical Lithuanian Grammar (for A2 and B1 level students, online)

You will learn to:

• use pronouns in written texts and simple conversations;
• use and compare adjectives;
• use cardinal and ordinal numbers;
• use verbs in all tenses, reflexive verbs, the imperative and subjunctive moods, and verbs with prefixes;
• use diminutive forms;
• use prepositions.

Learning topics:

• Pronouns: personal pronouns, reflexive pronoun *savęs*, interrogative pronoun *kas*, general pronouns *viskas* and *niekas*, demonstrative pronouns *šis* and *tas*.
• Adjectives: agreement of adjectives, neuter gender, adverbs of manner, degrees of comparison: comparative and superlative.
• Numerals: cardinal and ordinal numbers, agreement of numerals.
• Verbs: tenses, reflexive verbs, imperative and subjunctive moods.
• Suffix-based formation of diminutives.
• Formation and agreement of verbs with prefixes.
• Prepositions and their agreement.
