After completing the course, you will be able to:
- pronounce Danish words correctly,
- briefly introduce yourself,
- read and comprehend simple texts,
- understand short adapted audio and video recordings, phrases and words used in everyday situations,
- give and ask for necessary information,
- start and maintain a conversation, ask questions,
- write down the provided information in simple language,
- use grammatical and lexical structures.
We will discuss the following topics:
- greeting and saying goodbye,
- introducing yourself and meeting other people,
- parts of the day, days of the week, years,
- family and everyday life,
- professions and jobs,
- housing,
- food and traditional dishes.
Grammar topics covered in the course:
- alphabet,
- word order in sentences,
- nouns: gender and number,
- articles: definite & indefinite,
- questions,
- personal, possessive pronouns,
- modal verbs: can, could,
- present tense & past tense of verbs.
